I know the video is about JR and his Mustang in Japan, but there is something that is just so inspirational about Kumakubo. Everything that he says and the attitude that he has just oozes the drifting spirit. I think that if he wasn’t a professional drifter, he’d probably be the Dalai Lama.

This is my favorite view of my G35… I love to see the lips of the wheels sticking out and the huge mufflers. Looks even better at night!
We paid a $178 late fee to the DMV for our G35 registration today.
They said that late fees went up because of budget cuts.

I was looking at media day coverage from Formula D Long Beach and I had to laugh when I saw this picture of Ken Gushi’s newly painted car for 2009.
Look at his crew guy’s shirt… and then look at his face. It’s the same!
When Ken told me about the new paint scheme for 2009, I was pretty excited. I’d have to say that it looks pretty good!
Although now that the old RS-R livery is gone… I kind of miss it. It brought back good memories of the old RS-R Drift festival days.
