Although there was no drifting, Speedtrial was fun. I learned the limits of my tires and my crappy brakes. I had a good time. My next project is getting some seatbelt harness and a seat. My stock setup is my restricting factor right now… that and my brakes. Anyway, I have a phat hole in my muffler. It’s the coolest thing ever. I’ll take a picture for all you funny picture fans…

I’ve got steel braided lines in now… thanks to Andy and Sam for helping me out (see, I told you I would put it in my journal). Anyway, they didn’t make much of a difference… It may be my calipers needing a rebuild. Afterwards, we went drifting last night at this one really great spot… an s-turn. Some things I learned… executing 2 continuous drifts is very hard, a stock hachiroku can do amazing things, and I need to work on drifting at higher speeds. Anyway, it was fun. We got in like 2 hours worth of quality time.
Got my new steering rack in… It feels much better now. There is no more free play on the steering wheel. Now all I have to do is fix my fuel pump and I’m set to go! I’m talking about Speed Trial this weekend btw.
LSD is nice. I’ve been getting sideways every single day since I got the car back. I’ve only been doing low speed drifts in 1st and 2nd gear, but I am already loving it, since it’s much easier to break the rear loose than it is without the lsd. 180’s are way easy and so are donuts. I was in Irvine last night causing mass havoc on the peace of the city. I even spun out… on dry pavement. I’ve never done that before, but it goes to show that I need better control, especially while using skinny tires with so much horsepower. I’m glad my crappy tires in the rear are holding up.
I’m up in SF right now, but that’s not the point. My car is down in LA getting an LSD installed! I’m getting a brand new KAAZ 2-way lsd, and it will be in and ready when I get back home Saturday morning. NICE.
Hmm, why is my clutch all weird these days? It’s because your slave cylinder is leaking you asshole! Okay, so yea… I had no more fluid in the clutch master cylinder and I didn’t even know it. Another stock part to replace. Dude… my car is seriously going to be a brand new car when I’m through with it. What is the deal here? Nissan? Get it together man! I’m tired of fixing your problems!
