Okay, so there’s a new Street Fighter movie coming out and it focuses on the story of Chun Li. I’m all for that – except they chose Kristen Kreuk to play Chun Li… really? Last time I checked, Chun Li was kind of hot… in a non weirdo who is into hot cartoon girls kind of way.

How about Kelly Hu?

Yes please!

Or Sandra Oh? HAHAHA jk.

Usually Power106 (our hip hop station here) is completely devoid of anything political or anything related to current events. It’s really annoying and irresponsible I think. But today it was nice to hear so many people on the radio talk about what’s happened today.

Here’s some of the stuff I’ve heard today:
Young Jeezy and Nas – My President is Black
Jay-Z – Lick a Shot for Obama
Will.i.am and Common – Yes we can

Wow! Hip hop on the radio that’s not about strip clubs, hoes or money! Is it snowing in hell?

We were in Laguna Beach last weekend to celebrate my cousin’s wedding. Congratulations Jenny and David!

The weather was beautiful and we had a nice brunch with a view clear enough to see Catalina Island.

Kristy was busy ducking down playing her Nintendo DS.

I made.

Sorry for the bad cell phone pics.

Deep fried to finish off what the Big Mac started.

On Noriyaro.com, I saw a picture from Tokyo Auto Salon 2009 of Daigo Saito’s new drift car for 2009 D1GP. I have to admit that it’s the best looking mustang I’ve ever seen!

Decked out in a nice red and good looking aero! Hope he loses those wheels though!

Daigo Saito was last year’s D1GP champion, which is kind of interesting to me, because either:
a) He’s improved a lot and has become an amazing driver over the few years that I stopped paying attention to D1GP
b) There’s not a whole lot of talent left in D1GP
or
c) D1GP is up to some shenanigans again

I guess he could have just been the most consistent huh? I could see that…

It’s too bad that D1GP has been a bore to me since all of the politics ruined the series that inspired me so much. Daigo Saito can’t compare to the likes of Taniguchi, Kazama, Kumakubo and Nomuken.
