Last weekend was as hot as hell, I think.

I managed to not get heat stroke, but at the same time didn’t get very much done!

I finally mounted some tires on my new SSR SP1 Professors and put them on my car.  Dunlop DZ101s in the rear – I love drifting on these tires!!!

I also flushed all my brake fluid… now I just need to change the oil and find a way to tow my car out to the event… anybody know of a truck and/or trailer I can borrow?

Here’s some pics of the battered drift machine as it sits now in my garage:

I’ve got this super generous uncle who bought me this 50″ Panasonic plasma TV.  It’s gorgeous!  Now I just have to figure out how I’m gonna change up that stone fireplace next to it so that I can mount it on top.

Here’s another shot of Paz’s S13 Silvia… that he’s going to sell soon!  Another impractical car has been realized and it’s going to be sold.  It’s such a cool looking car, but I understand the difficulty of having a car that is a little too much drama to be driving daily.

I got a nice surprise this morning from Mr. Mailman.  My new steering wheel came in!

I’ve been wanting a 330mm wheel for a long time now and could never reason spending $250 on a leather steering wheel that I eventually destroy through drifting with my sweaty palms.  So when this dude Taka let me know about these super cheap wheels he had made I jumped on it right away.  It came white originally but he painted it satin black for me, since I am too old fashioned to have a white wheel.

Anybody who is interested in these, let me know and I’ll put you in contact with him!  He’s got plenty white ones and wood ones in 330 and 350.

Getting married and having  a baby has prevented me from attenting previous events… Elise is now almost 1.5 years old and I’m STILL not able to spend any time on my car!

Well, this year the nice people at Willowsprings Raceway have opened up Streets of Willow to us and I am doing my best to spend some time on the car and get out there!

This weekend will entail…

  • Flush my brake fluid
  • Changing the oil
  • Mounting some tires
  • Remove some stickers
  • Fixing some aero
  • Buying more zipties!!

Sounds like a lot of work… let’s see how much I can squeeze into so little time.
