Ok here’s part 2… I’ll keep it short since last time I talked about the fancy cup and foil crap.

Here you can see the bits of dried kimchi and cheese squares

The kimchi has been hydrated and the cheese is all melty

Conclusion: I wish there was more cheese!  I know, the combination sounds wacky.  But the Japanese are onto something here… I’ve had udon with mochi and cheese @ Sanuki No Sato and it was awesome!  This wasn’t awesome, but it was still good.  The soup tastes just like those Nong Shim bowl deals you see in the stores.
