urban dictionary: choke on a dick musubi

That was fast!

Hahaha – So many good products here!  Go buy some!

I often think about the day in the following blog entry.  I wrote this before the term “blog” existed… it was an “online journal” that I had to manually update with my programming skills.

12.02.2003 – Riding Shotgun with Team Orange + Drift Showoff 3 @ Irwindale

I forgot about some of those details… I’m glad I’ve managed to keep this blog alive for so many years.

I get home around 6:30p everyday, so the only way to get dinner on the table in a timely manner is by cooking what I can the night before.

It’s 10:30… now I can take a shower and watch a little TV before bed.

Ok here’s part 2… I’ll keep it short since last time I talked about the fancy cup and foil crap.

Same unopened fancy cup as the last one

Here you can see the bits of dried kimchi and cheese squares

The kimchi has been hydrated and the cheese is all melty

Conclusion: I wish there was more cheese!  I know, the combination sounds wacky.  But the Japanese are onto something here… I’ve had udon with mochi and cheese @ Sanuki No Sato and it was awesome!  This wasn’t awesome, but it was still good.  The soup tastes just like those Nong Shim bowl deals you see in the stores.

My friend Marc’s family is from Molokai.  I often hear him tell people about what a jerk Andrew Zimmern is… but I’ve been saying that for years.  Marc usually talks about how he saw Andrew Zimmern do an episode in Hawaii where he was repulsed by Spam.  I shared this story with Logan because he likes pineapples and coconuts and fruit punch, and he readily had this link available to me within seconds – http://honolulu.metromix.com/events/blog_post/really-andrew-zimmern-really/728725/content

And then had this to say:
f**k that guy
he can choke on a dick musubi

Hahaha! I was laughing really hard… time to make another urban dictionary entry

Just Say Hi

Every once in a while I’ll talk to one of my single friends about finding that right person.  Often times I’ll tell them to just make small talk with the strangers around you – you could open a door to a new relationship or at the very least you can improve your socializing skills.  I randomly found this quote today and it reminded me of all those conversations I had with my friends.

I used to feel so alone in the city. All those gazillions of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? I was very stumped by this for many years. And then I realized, you just say, ‘Hi.’ They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word.
