Wow my life has been so hectic as of late that I forgot that I even had a blog!

Here’s the latest and the greatest on my life:

• We’re looking for a house… yeah it’s time to stop renting and just bite the bullet. This means that funds will be low in order to save for the downpayment, and also if we find something – to pay the mortgage. This also means that my car stuff is all on hold until we have some concrete plans! Man, my car was going to be awesome for ’09!
• Elise got a virus from her daycare place and she’s been throwing up and has stomach aches. She is really needy and cries when we’re not in the room with her while she’s sleeping.
• The Drifting Pretty Annual banquet is coming up, so there’s a lot of preparation for that.
• I still have all my Christmas shopping to do.

Life, can I get a break here?!

I get a ton of gift cards every Christmas and I’m sure you do too. The problem is that the country is sitting in the middle of a recession, and it’s not a surprise that a lot of stores selling gift cards will file for bankruptcy. Don’t get caught with gift cards that are worth less than your toilet paper!

I just got out of the worst traffic ever. Usually my drive to work is pretty clear and the stretch of freeway that usually takes me about 10 minutes took me one hour today.

Here’s what I sat in for about an hour.

This is the cause of all the traffic – an overturned truck that blocked the whole freeway. Radio said it won’t be clear until mid afternoon since they have to unload all the cargo before picking the truck back up. SUCKS!

Luckily I was driving the G35 today so it wasn’t too bad chilling in the car.

I just heard this on the radio… he announced that he’s gay. Seriously – I thought he was already gay??

He could have gone through his entire career without announcing that he’s gay, and people would already know!
